Women's Prayer Group is finding answers to prayer

Reflecting upon her need to remain connected with God throughout every day, Jane Rubietta writes, “I want my life to be filled with Jesus for my own (wretched) sake. But I also want my family to experience the benefits of a wife and mother who walks with Him and loves like He loves. Time with Him accomplishes that goal.” (Jane Rubietta, “New Every Morning,” Pastors in Focus, June/July 2009, p. 2) Sadly, the most vital relationship we have – our relationship with God – frequently becomes one of the easiest to ignore. We pay a price when we do. This is why Scripture emphasizes our need for fellowship: we need to remain accountable to our Christian brothers and sisters. The Women’s Prayer Group, currently meeting at FBC on Tuesdays at 6:30 PM, is one of the ways available to remain accountable to one another and grow through prayer with God. All women are invited to be a part in this ministry.
